A cena atual do rap brasileiro e um dos maiores nomes da época da Jovem Guarda acabam de se encontrar em um projeto pra lá de experimental. Estamos falando de "Mano", álbum que celebra os 85 anos de Erasmo Carlos.
O encontro traz gravações originais do Tremendão junto às versões inéditas assinadas por nomes como Emicida, Marcelo D2, Criolo, Dexter, Xamã, Budah, Rael, Tasha & Tracie e Tássia Reis. O projeto, idealizado por Léo Esteves, filho do cantor, e pelo produtor Marcus Preto, chegou aos streamings com oito faixas que resgatam um lado menos conhecido da obra de Erasmo.
A escolha pelo gênero do rap não foi aleatória. Segundo Léo Esteves, seu pai sempre teve um repertório eclético, que ia de Bob Dylan a bandas de reggae, passando por nomes centrais da black music americana, como Donny Hathaway e Isaac Hayes — artistas que frequentemente são referências também para o próprio hip hop.
Marcus Preto reforça que Erasmo tinha ligação direta com a black music brasileira do início dos anos 1970, um elo que hoje consegue conectar sua obra naturalmente aos novos nomes do rap nacional.
Faixas como "É Preciso Dar um Jeito, Meu Amigo", reinterpretada por Emicida e Tropkillaz, e "Gente aberta", que ganhou nova vida nas mãos de Criolo e Tássia Reis, mostram como as letras de Erasmo — muitas delas escritas em um momento de questionamentos existenciais em sua carreira — encontraram eco entre os rappers convidados.

O passado que não sai de moda Revisitar criações do passado com uma roupagem contemporânea não é exclusividade do álbum “Mano”. Em diferentes frentes e setores, 2026 tem sido marcado por releituras que miram diretamente na nostalgia do público.
No universo dos games, muitos títulos bebem da fonte de um conceito mais vintage. Um desses jogos é o Mines , que resgata a estética simples e as mecânicas diretas que marcaram os primeiros jogos de computador. Nele você encontra um tabuleiro com minas e estrelas, sem os gráficos hiper-realistas de títulos mais modernos.
Já o jogo "Onimusha: Way of the Sword", da Capcom, aposta em um outro tipo de releitura. O jogo apresenta diversas referências do cinema japonês clássico , entre elas uma versão virtual do ator Toshiro Mifune, ícone do cinema samurai.
As telinhas brasileiras também entraram nessa onda: a novela "A Viagem". Com sucesso na TV Tupi em 1975 e também no seu remake em 1994 na TV Globo, a obra de Ivani Ribeiro agora ganhará uma versão em filme estrelada por Carolina Dieckmann e Rodrigo Lombardi, revivendo a história romântica e espiritual de Diná e Otávio.
Claro que a moda também está surfando nessa nostalgia. A Bershka, marca recém-chegada ao Brasil, uniu forças com a Ed Hardy para uma coleção bem anos 2000, repleta de estampas de dragões, tigres e caveiras, mas sob um olhar atual.

A conversa entre o passado e o presente As músicas presentes em “Mano” vêm de três álbuns de Erasmo Carlos: “Carlos, Erasmo” de 1971, “Sonhos e memórias —1941/1972” de 1972 e “1990 — Projeto Salva Terra!” de 1974. De acordo com Léo Esteves, essas obras retratam muito a vida do seu pai quando se mudou para o Rio de Janeiro. “Ele saiu daquela zona de segurança que era gravar um programa semanal, de grande sucesso, mas que aprisionava ele como roqueiro. Era uma época em que existia uma certa utopia, e o Erasmo sempre foi um cara muito utópico,” acrescentou o filho do Tremendão.
